Rob Foehr

Rob Foehr
September 14, 1990 – April 20, 2024

Passed away peacefully in the arms of his siblings and in the hands of his parents and brother in-laws at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 20th 2024 at the age of 33 years. Rob is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Douglas (Mom- Kayla) and Malcolm (Mom- Charlotte), his Mom Christena and Dad Michael (Renee), his Oma Vera, his siblings Christine “Tissy” (Gery), Nathan (Stacie), Seleena (Dave), his nieces and nephews Alexandra (Josh), Brianna (Josh), Kyle, Avery, Tori, Bella, Dani, Ryan, Olivia, Micah, Addison, Genevieve, Stella, Josie, Jansen, Grace, Aneila, and David, and his great-nieces Haven and Devina. He will also be dearly missed by all his Aunts, Uncles and his second family Mike, Dorie, Alix, and Chrissy along with many other loved ones and friends.

Rob was born in Sudbury, Ontario on September 14th, 1990. He spent a lot of his time with his siblings and friends. Some of his favourite things to do were play soccer, t-ball and football. He always had a big smile and contagious loud laugh. As he grew up, he enjoyed rock music and going to concerts. His favourite band was the Rolling Stones. Almost every picture we have of him, he is wearing a different Rolling Stones shirt. Rob always had a big heart and said he would give you the shirt off his back even if it was his last one. He had the best sense of humour, always making jokes and either laughing with you or at you. He was always really smart, even as a kid, and loved working with his hands and fixing things. He worked as a Commercial Overhead Doors, Loading Dock, and Garage Door Installer for many years and was known as one of the best and was always very proud of his work. He has two sons that he loved very dearly. Rob’s favourite food was spaghetti, he would eat it every day if he could. So much so that he once ate 9 entire plates. Rob was loved by so many, and we are deeply saddened by this tragic loss.

Rob was always a generous person, and made the decision to be an organ donor. We honoured his wishes, and both of his kidneys will be extending the lives of two other people.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund for his two sons would be greatly appreciated by the family. Any questions regarding this process can be directed to Rob’s sister, Christine at c.delcastillo2010@hotmail.com

We will be hosting a celebration of life and spaghetti meal on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at his sister Christine’s house at 237 Alderlea Ave, Mount Hope from 12pm to 7pm. This will be a drop in service and anyone is welcome to stop by. Please come with your favourite memory of Rob to share.
