Bruce was born in Montreal on April 11, 1948.  He met and married Sylvia in Montreal on June 25, 1983.  Over the years they moved around to be closer to family.  At many of the places they lived they were the landlords of the buildings.  Bruce was a custodian by trade and spent many years with the US Embassy in Ottawa until his retirement in 2014. They then moved closer to Niagara Falls to be closer to his brother Brian and spent his final years in Kitchener to be closer to his brother Herman’s family. Family was always so important to Bruce.  He was a loving, kind and caring man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  He was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan, and he will be cheering them on from heaven.

As per Bruce’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place in Montreal at a later date.  For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Innisfree Hospice or the charity of your choice.
