August 23, 1958 – October 4, 2024Debra Lee Riddell passed away suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital on Friday October 4th, 2024 at the age of 66. Survived by Derek Stokke, her loving partner of 33 years, and her son Kyle Stokke. Lovingly remembered by her mother Marjorie Ashbaugh and stepfather Grant Ashbaugh, father Stanley Vaughan, sister Betty Martin (Randy), brother Danial Vaughan (Haryeong), nieces Katie Martin and Olivia Vaughan. Also remembered by Wayne Riddell, and extended Vaughan, Ashbaugh and Stokke families.
Debra was a beloved friend, family member, and an extraordinary individual known for her kind and loving heart. She found her greatest joy in the company of her animals, who brought her immense happiness and fulfillment. Her warmth and compassion were evident in every interaction, making her a wonderful presence in the lives of those who knew her.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their incredible kindness and support. A celebration of Debra’s life will be held on Monday November 4th, 2024 at the Caledonia Lions Club from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA would be greatly appreciated by the family.
