Golden, Dolores Anne (nee Doede)
September 17, 1937 – January 12, 2024Passed away peacefully on January 12 at Fairview Mennonite Home at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Ron Golden for 66 years. Loving mother of Dianne (Larry) Crain of Iowa, Sharon (Scott) Nichols, David of Toronto and Melissa (Dan) Atcheson. Cherished grandmother of Matt (Sophie), Rebecca (Taryn), Larissa, Jon (fiance Nicole), Katelyn and Carleigh. Dear great grandmother to Oran.
Predeceased by her parents Rudolph and Erika (Reta) Doede and her brothers Roni and Richard. She will be missed by her brothers David (Linda) and Doug (Kathy).Dolores embraced family time at the cottage at Gould Lake. For 25 years she worked in the Catalogue Department at Sears. Square dancing, clogging, travelling, playing cards, knitting and crocheting were some of the activities she enjoyed.
A celebration of Dolores’ life will be announced in the near future.
