Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington after a few difficult months. Herbert is predeceased by his wife, Gisela, and leaves behind his son Frank, and more distant relatives including Rolf, Hildegard and Loraine.Herbert enjoyed reading about history and science, walking, and working on mechanical design and engineering problems into his nineties.
Special thanks to Herbert's doctors and the hospital staff for their care and patience.According to his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations would be appreciated.
