Lam, Howard John (Howie)
May 19, 1956 - February 26, 2023It is with profound sadness that the family of Howard ‘Howie” John Lam announce his sudden passing at Milton District Hospital on February 26th 2023, at the age of 66.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Kelly Lam.
Howard will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Kristina (Jesse), and adoring grandchildren Mia, Toni and Emmet. Sister Doreen, nephews David (Annemarie), Steven (Melissa), Micheal as well as many great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by son Aubrey, brother Larry, niece Carie Anne.
The simplest of life’s pleasures brought Howard great joy, a good cup of coffee, hours spent with his wife and best friend Kelly discussing politics and current events, watching his grandchildren play, listening to music while puttering in the garden, Star Trek reruns (the original of course), walking their dogs “the boys”. All things that made his heart full, and brought a smile to his face.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place Sunday March 5th at 1:30pm at 6 Parkshore Place, Carlisle.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Humane Society or Sickkids in his honour would be appreciated.
