Cluckie, James
Cluckie, James Stewart
November 14, 1976 - January 30, 2025It is with heavy heart that we announce on January 30, 2025, the passing of James “Jimmy” Cluckie at the age of 48.
He leaves behind the love of his life Larissa, and his two beautiful children: Teagen (Carter) and Kylee, along with his grand daughter Audrey. He is survived by his proud father; Jim Cluckie Sr and his two sisters; Lianna (Kalan) Comba and Marnie Cluckie (Jim Miller), along with nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his in-laws Steve and Mary Procyszyn, who treated him like their own son.
Through-out his life Jimmy battled with various health issues, he was a hard-working and honest man who showed up for everyone in his life. He began his career as an Ironworker in his teens and climbed the ranks to Mechanical Estimator where he worked for the last 20 years. He was a dependable, respected, and selfless person. Always willing to help a brother or sister out when they were looking for work or advice and always made people laugh with his sarcastic charm. There was never a time that he did not give to his friends and family, while never accepting anything in return.
In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley while having a cigar, playing the guitar with his oldest daughter, working out with his youngest or hanging out at home surrounded by his family. He had such a deep unwavering love for his daughters that he made it his mission in life to make sure they had everything they needed and raised them to be strong, resilient, independent women. In his final months he was able to meet his first granddaughter, and they spent hours smiling with one another and babbling along making memories to last a lifetime.
For 24 years, his wife Larissa was his biggest supporter. She attended every doctor’s appointment and was his voice of reason through his highs and lows. No amount of challenges or hardships could ever diminish the love and strength the pair shared. Their bond was a testament to commitment and partnership, as they faced every joy and challenge hand in hand. She loved and cared for him till his last breath and never left his side.
Although Jimmy may be gone, his spirit and love will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. His silly antics, kindness, and unwavering support will be deeply missed but never forgotten. The memories created with him will remain a source of comfort and strength for his family and friends as they navigate life without him.
“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. 143 Until we meet again.”
At Jimmy’s request there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
His family will host a Celebration of life on his behalf this coming spring..
