It is with a heavy heart that the family of Joel Adam Kalbfleisch born September 15, 1945, are announcing his passing on October 1st, 2021, at Joseph Brant Hospital. Predeceased by his wife of 45 years Norah, his parents Harry and Unis, in laws Jim and Betty, his brother Jan, SIL Rita and BIL Dave.
Left to honor his passing onto the next chapter are his son Jeffrey, son Adam, daughter in law Leanne, grandsons Jackson, Davis and Drew, brother Harley and his wife Lisa, SIL Mary and her husband Steve, BIL Rick and his wife Barb, BIL Bill and his wife Jan, SIL Connie and her partner Jim, nephews Jesse, Jimmy, Adam, Zach and nieces Dawn and husband Jeremy, Cheryl, Lindy and her husband John, Kaitlyn, Emma, Maggie.
Joel was an avid reader of books, loved his Sunday afternoon football (naps) and special dinners with the family. Joel passed peacefully with his two sons at his side on Friday morning after a lovely day at the beach with his grandsons and cheering for the Blue Jays with pizza and beers snuck into the hospital the night before.A special thanks to the staff at Joe Brant for making his last days comfortable and Chelsea for the last-minute visit.
