Shardlow, Judian
December 22, 1947 – October 1, 2023In Loving Memory of Judian Shardlow
Our beloved mother, partner, and friend passed away peacefully in her 76th year, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Her departure leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, but her memory will forever shine as a beacon of love, tolerance, and acceptance.
Embarking on a remarkable journey through life, Judian touched many lives along the way. She is survived by her devoted life partner, Roy, her daughter Tahra (Mike), her two sons, Joel (Karen) and Max, and her cherished grandchildren, Sara and Dylan. Judian's love and guidance will continue to live on through her family, who will carry forward the lessons she imparted and the love she instilled in their hearts.
From an early age, Judian's deep passion for the arts, especially theater, was evident. Her talent as an actor lit up the stage and left an impression on all fortunate enough to witness the performances. This passion showcased the vibrancy of her spirit and her creative soul.
Judian's impact extended beyond the spotlight; she was an unwavering advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Her live-and-let-live mentality touched the lives of many, fostering an environment of acceptance, love, and understanding. Judian believed in the beauty of diversity and taught her family, friends, and all who crossed her path the importance of tolerance, empathy, and forgiveness.
As we bid farewell to Judian, we are reminded that the world is a better place because she graced it with her presence. Her love will endure through the memories we hold close to our hearts, and her values will continue to shape the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
