KENNEDY, K’Lee Patricia, of Toronto (formerly Aylmer/St. Thomas), passed away suddenly on July 6, 2022 in her 31st year.Loving daughter of Traci Kennedy (Jason Rodak) and the late Ben Sljivic (2008). K’Lee will be sadly missed by her precious cat Koopa, Aunt Fatima & Uncle Norm Drennan, Grandmother Tomica Sljivic, Uncle Dan Kennedy (Brenda), Aunt Pam Van Heukelom (Rob), Step-Brothers Alec & Kyle Rodak, cousins Jeremy, Jaime, Jill & Justin and their spouses. Watching over her in heaven are her cherished grandparents…. Hasib Sljivic (1987), J.B Kennedy (2004) and Jo-Anne Kennedy (2020).
From the moment K’Lee could hold a pencil at a tender age, she fell in love with the art of drawing and chose to study Graphic Design at Fanshawe College upon completion of high school. As an infant, she was quickly scouted by a Toronto agency and modelled for Consumers Distributing, Bi-Way and Sears. She was fascinated with all things Anime and was very proud of her collection of books and figurines. Just like her mom, K’Lee was gifted with a beautiful singing voice that could stop you in your tracks and bring you to tears…..she will definitely be a welcomed addition to the angel choir in heaven. Her many friends that have reached out have said their most special memories of K’Lee are her smile that could light up a room in an instant, her love of video games and her passion for animals.
Our family would like to say a special thank you to everyone who has reached out to us with love and support during this very difficult time.
A private ceremony and Celebration of Life will follow at a later date. Charitable donations in K’Lee’s memory can be made to Pets/Friends For Life in St. Thomas or Simba’s Cat & Kitten Rescue in Woodstock.
