September 23, 1971 – March 16, 2024Suddenly with great shock and sadness we announced the news of Lee’s passing at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener Ontario on March 16, 2024 after his battle with Esophageal Cancer.
Fun Fact: Lee was born in Oldham England, he came to Kitchener Ontario Canada when he was 2 years old. Lee became a big fan of golfing at the local golf courses in town and a bigger fan of the hockey team “Torono Maple Leafs”.
Lee leaves behind his best friend and Wife of 32 years of marriage Lisa Joy Kelly and Fur babies Zeek, Terra and Haku.
Lee was predeceased by his father Lynwood Kelly (England) and mother Elizabeth “Betty”Kelly (Scotland) Also predeceased by brother Ronnie Kelly (Scotland).
Brother to Russell (Darlene) Kelly, Sister to Shirley (Mike) Sylvester, brother to Lesile (Rachel) Kelly, brother to Steven (Li-Anne) Crombleholme.
Lee was a Husband, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and Friend.
He had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. To get Lee to a social event was very difficult, but once he was there , you would have never known it, because Lee was the life of the room full of laughter and smiles.Lee loved riding his bike and going for nature walks, it seemed that animals knew he was around, it was never a surprise to see an animal come out of hiding just to say hello.
Per Lee’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the Royal Candian Legion Hall 601 Wellington St. N, Kitchener on April 7, 2024 between the hours of 2pm-4pm
