Linda Mae Warren was born in Toronto, Ontario to the late Betty and Ernie Warren on October 5, 1956.. The family soon moved to Orillia. Linda became involved with the Orillia Figure Skating Club for many years where she won many provincial trophies.
Linda was the mother of three beautiful daughters, Katie (Hirod Jadiri), Andrea McCullough and Lindsay (Ryan Tindale) McCullough. She was also the step mom to John McCullough Jr.
Linda moved to Cornwall where she worked for the post office as a letter carrier for many years, walking 23 kms a day through all kinds of weather, at all times of year. But, she loved being outside. Later she moved to Ottawa and continued her career with Canada Post.
Linda was a devoted “Nana” to Sophia, Greyson and Natalia Jadiri, who adored her.
She was sister to Terry (Nita) Warren, Joan (predeceased) Blair McDonald and Brenda Westington, all of Orillia, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her good friend Doris Arbour of Cornwall.
Linda passed surrounded by her loving family on August 19, 2021. There will not be a service, cremation has taken place.
