September 21, 1934 - April 25, 2023The Angels came and took you home to heaven. It is with heavy hearts & deep sadness that we announce the passing of Martina, beloved wife of the late Clarence (Joe) who predeceased her in 1985.
Dear mother of Larry (Cathy) of Kitchener; Gary (Nancy) of Atwood; and Joanne (Dave Schlegel) of Waterloo. Loving Grandmother of Ryan Machan, Sarah (Jeff) Kneeshaw, Rebecca Machan, Crystal and Kelly Machan, and Joel Mercer. Cherished Great- Grandmother of Calvin, Alex, Ryland and Odin.
Survived by sister in-law to Joan (Bob) Barwick, Gail (John) Currie, Sandra Machan, Dale (Ruth) Machan, Gord (Jane) Machan, Anne (Jack) Vincent, Pat (Ken) Mathers, Lawrence Machan, Florence Machan, Bill Robinson and Jim Alton. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Predeceased by brother Michael (Dorothy)Willie. Sister in-law Shirley (George) Wheeler, Maxine Robinson, Darlene (Wayne) Becker, Dianne Machan. Brother in-laws Lloyd (Marion) Machan, Doug, Barry and Carmen Machan.
Martina grew up in Wingham moved to Kitchener in1968 where she spent the rest of her life. She was a home maker and truly enjoyed her social time with family and friends. She was a very caring person and we will all miss her greatly.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Martina’s life to be held at Atwood Presbyterian Church on Saturday May 13, 2023. 12:30 pm-2pm In Lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
