Grandmother of Graham (Amy) Raso & Kayla (Kyle) Raso-Brooks. She treasured her grandchildren. Honoured Great Grandmother of Wyatt Brooks and Ellie Raso. She was employed through many jobs throughout the city and had a great passion for knitting. Mary was a fanatic movie buff and could talk to you for hours on them and became a frequent flyer to the movie store at the mall. She loved to put on a huge spread at holiday times, not only to feed the family, but extended family and friends as well. She was a proud member of the IODE for many years. She was compassionate, supportive and at times could be feisty and that’s a true blue Bluenose.
Mary will be sorely missed by her many friends, neighbours, nieces and nephews, especially that Hall’s family.
Many Thanks to her Medical Angel, Dr Janet Nairn for such pivotal and compassionate care over the many years. Also Dr Wesley James, Dr Sylvia Rodrigues & Drs Bruce & Jenny Elliott for your continued care.
In her final journey, many thanks to her Health care team of Dr Ruddock, Bay Shore Nurses and Para Med PSW’s you were all central to the critical care required at the end. We can’t say much more but to express our many, many thanks and gratitude to such amazing compassionate, caring support team at Wellington Hospice.
