Anderson, Michele
Anderson, Michele Susan (nee Greeley)
December 30, 1966 - September 10, 2021
It’s with great sadness that we announce Michele passed away peacefully at the Credit Valley Hospital on September 10th at the young age of 54. Pre-deceased by her father Frank, brother in law Dave Coulter and Cousin Brad Therriault, she will be deeply missed by her mother Shirley, daughters Brianna and Sarah and her siblings Debbie (Ric), Francis, Brenda, Ronald and Liz. Michele will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Trey, Charlotte (Damon), Kady, Cody, Kye and Charlee along with all of her extended family and friends.
Michele grew up in a busy (but loving) home with a very large family. In her youth she found her escape by joining the volleyball, basketball and track teams (and she was even pretty good at them!). Shortly after, she met her husband Greg and went on to have her children who became the center of her world. She was an amazing mother. She loved, cared and cherished her children, becoming a close friend to them as well as a mother. She was the person her children could confide in, and the person anyone could talk to. Michele was kind and generous, qualities that made her career as a server so completely natural. She had an infectious laugh that carried for miles (as did her voice!) and she always made everyone around her smile and laugh with her. She had a big heart and cared for everyone she met. She was just that type of woman. She always put her heart and soul into everything she did.
When she wasn’t helping others, she loved to spend the summertime gardening or tanning outside while reading a good book. But in the winter she preferred to stay indoors; perpetually cold, these Canadian winters weren’t for her!
At the request of the family, cremation has taken place and private service of remembrance will be held in her memory. A very special thank you to the staff at the Chartwell Retirement Residence for their continued help and support.
“May you finally find serenity…”
