January 31, 1930 - September 30, 2024
Surrounded by family, in her home, Nova peacefully passed away on Monday, September 30th in her 95th year.
Nova was all about family and friends, of which there were many. She lived a great life and left us a legacy of memories that we will cherish forever.She is predeceased by her husband Jim (2011). Loving mother to Ross Needham (Diane), Neal Needham (predeceased), Jane McDermott (Derek) and Cherie Marsh. Proud grandmother to James Needham, Sarah Magwood (Brandon), Kristine and Kevin McDermott, Kyle, Frank and Madeleine Marsh, Zachary and Ashley Sabean. Extremely proud great grandmother to Hannah Magwood and Ja'Mykie Howell. Dear sister to Percy Elliott (Jeannie), Pat Chapman (Vincent, both predeceased) and John Elliott (Christa predeceased). Nova is fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, the list of which is just too long to print.
She was a longstanding member of the Ladies Orange Lodge and a founding member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church. Please join us Friday, October 11th for visitation from 10 am until noon at Trinity (Transfiguration) Lutheran Church, 232 Fennell Ave. E. Hamilton, Ontario with funeral service to follow immediately after and then lunch in the church hall where we can share stories and memories.
