January 31, 1954 - November 11, 2024It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Paul Hannivan, at the age of 70 years, at Toronto General Hospital with his wife Pam by his side. He will be deeply missed by his children Jackie (Mike), Joel and Kelly (Tanner) and his grandchildren Madison, Lily, Quinn, Braelynn and Kinsley. Predeceased by his parents Berton (1984) and Marjorie (2007) Hannivan, he is survived by his older brothers David (Patti) and Rick (Elfriede) along with his nieces and nephews.
Loving father, proud grampa, avid fisherman, enthusiastic baseball coach and talented musician, Paul will be missed by many. With his wry sense of humour and knack for storytelling, he always engaged those who met him in any capacity, be it work colleague, fellow musician, good friend or just a casual acquaintance. He was a noble man and was always willing to help anyone in need, passing that gift on to his children.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club, 5700 Hwy 86, Ariss ON, on Saturday November 30, 2024 from 2-4pm, with presentations at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Paul’s name to the UHN Foundation. He was well cared for during his time at Toronto General Hospital, and we thank the staff for all the love and care they provided during his stay.
