Newton, Peter Geoffrey
October 26, 1951 - May 23, 2024It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Geoffrey Newton on May 23, 2024 at home at the age of 72 surrounded by family, following a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Peter leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda; daughters Joslin (Mark) and Lindsay (David); his adored granddaughters, Sadie and Rosie; brothers, Paul (Suzanne) and David (Eileen); as well as numerous other family members and friends.
As per Peter’s wishes, there will not be a funeral. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in Peter’s name are welcomed to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
