McDonald, Scott Andrew
March 19, 1959 - August 28, 2024With sadness we announce the passing of Scott Andrew McDonald on Aug 28, 2024 at the age of 65. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Grand River Hospital.
Scott is survived by his wife Terri McDonald, his children Jordan McDonald (Jenna), Justin McDonald (Morgan), his grandson Theo (Jordan and Jenna), sister Kelly Nicholls and brother Rob McDonald.
He was predeceased by his father Neil McDonald, and mother Gayle Stoll McDonald Patterson.
Scott enjoyed many years in the food and beverage industry, then later retired from a successful real estate career in the Cambridge/Waterloo Region. In 2021 Scott and Terri relocated back to his hometown of Fergus.
His happiest years were raising and spending time with his children and family in Cambridge, creating fond memories of days in the pool, ATVing with his sons and hosting many family gatherings. He loved spending time with his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Scott shared the love of outdoor activities with his boys, which included skiing, golfing, boating, cottaging, camping, fishing, hiking and cycling. Some of the most cherished memories were formed at Go Home Lake with his sons, family and friends.
He adored and was intensely proud of Jordan and Justin and was their greatest fan.
As per Scott’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
