Christina Johnston (nee Wilson) passed away peacefully at Cama Woodlands Long Term Care Home on August 14th, 2022.Born September 5th 1937 in Bearsden, just outside of Glasgow Scotland. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband William Johnston, her two daughters; Jo Anne (David), Jeanine (Jeff) and her grandchildren; Charlene (Jason), Kirsten (Michael), Maggie (Ian), Ruthie, & William; and great-grand child, Everly. She will be fondly remembered by her older brother David Wilson.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday August 18th, 2022 at 11am at Kingsway Baptist Church where she was an active member of the congregation for over 38 years. A reception to follow, where we will share stories and high tea. High tea attire optional, but encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in her name to the Canadian Cancer Society, an organization that she volunteered for, for over 50 years.
A special thank you to the staff at Cama Woodlands for their love and care towards Christina over the past 9 months.
