November 3, 1957 - February 18, 2022It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Douglas H. Feere (Doug) on Friday, February 18th, 2022 at the age of 64 after a brave battle with cancer.
He was a devoted and dedicated husband and father. He leaves behind his beloved wife Sharon Feere (nee Underfinger) and were about to celebrate their 40th anniversary. A loving and cherished father to Kirk (Meghan), Jamie and Chris. Proud Papa to twins Rory and Lennon. Survived by his siblings Floyd Feere, Marnie O'Brian (Gary), Mike Feere (Kim), Donna Lee Feere, Brian Feere (Maria), Betty-Ann Savoy (Roy). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sibling: Marilyn Feere. Predeceased by parents Hugh and Eleanor Feere. Predeceased by sister in laws: Cindy and Ann Marie.
Doug was a dedicated employee for over 30 years at Stelco and retired to start his own snow removal and lawn maintenance company with his sons. His love for fishing and his sense of humour will be missed on family and friend trips.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the animal aid would be appreciated. A service will be held later in the spring to celebrate Doug's life.
