July 17, 1937 - March 24, 2022It's with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of George at the Georgetown Hospital with his family by his side.
George will be deeply missed by his wife Grace of 63 years (March 21st) along with his children Karen, Christopher & Jane, and Paul & Cathy.
He leaves behind eight grandchildren and their partners along with two Bonus grandchildren and their partners.
Great Granddad to four children and Bonus Great Granddad to two.
George leaves his brother Alan in Canada, and family in England which was always home.
A quiet man who loved his family and friends deeply and faithfully. George was always one to share a laugh or two over a beverage. The front door was always open.
His wood carvings will now become his legacy.
As per George's wishes cremation has taken place with a celebration of life at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Hillsview Active Living Centre, Georgetown or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
George, it's time for a cup of tea.................
