”Peach”
September 14, 1967 - September 18, 2023It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Laurie “Peach” passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023 at Hospice Wellington, in her 57th year, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Laurie is survived by her beloved son Zack (Eva), stepdaughter Nicole (Glen), loving brother Rodger and cherished sisters Judy (Rich) and Sherry. As well as her adoring grandson Maddox and nephews and nieces as well as her fur babies Nakita and Kiwi.
Peach held a wonderful zest for life that made those around her smile. She loved to travel, seek adventures and spend her time outdoors. Whether she was skiing the slopes, camping with family and friends or on the beach with her toes in the sand along with splashing in the water with the kids or paddling her kayak on the surface. She always enjoyed finishing her days asleep beneath the stars. She loved being in nature whether it was going for a nice long walk or the quiet stillness on her deck watching the swans and listening to the birds and their songs. As well as In the garden playing with her flowers. When she wasn’t in nature you could find her on the patio listening to music chatting with friends and those nearby. At home she enjoyed being snuggled up with her cat Kiwi and her dog Nikita laying close by watching her movies.
Peach will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.
