Zomok, Louise Mary
May 5, 1950 - October 15, 2023Passed peacefully at Niagara General Hospital on Sunday, October 15, 2023 in her 74th year.
Louise was the loving mother of Cassandra Zomok. She was a sister to Veronica (Ronnie) and Bert Merwitz, Jo Ann and Ed Tronko, Carolyn (Charlie) and Fred Fox, Tom and Cheryl Pahowski, and sister-in-law to Todd Gillow. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her Mom Doris (1996), Dad John (2000), sister Pat Deruiter (2003), brother John (2000), sister Terri (1997), sister Tammy (2020), sister Sherri (2020).
Born and brought up in Wainfleet where she lived on her family’s Dairy Farm. Worked in the Banking Industry for some years. She was a great fan of Nascar, Football and Baseball and anyone who knew her well did not call her when there was a televised Nascar Race.
We wish to extend sincere thanks to her long time friend Rolene Lockwood for her constant support for many years and the PSW’s who attended to all her needs; hairdresser who offered her in-home services, and anyone who helped with her needs in the many years past. A special thanks to her Doctor’s and Staff at Shaver Hospital who worked with her through all these years and the ER Staff and Staff of Niagara General Hospital Trillium Unit for their support in her final days.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to PASSAGES ECO CONSCIOUS CREMATION AND BURIAL INC. In honour of Louise’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.
