Wagland, Megan Patricia
April 10, 1984 - April 10, 2025

Surrounded by love, Megs passed away at home on her 41st birthday, April 10, 2025. She is now forever an angel with her beloved Mama (Patricia Skinner).

Much-loved daughter of Mom Joni (Rob) and Dad Steve (Sue),
Megs so adored her “baby” brother Connor, his wife Nicole, and her nephew Douglas. She will be deeply missed by her Papa (Bill Skinner), along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Megs’ spirit will still be singing the loudest at “sing-song” holiday gatherings with Danielle, Jim, Scott, and Evangelina.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and the beautiful tributes from those whose lives were touched by her smile, kindness, and strength.

We are so proud of you, Megs, for having such a positive influence on the world. Thank you to everyone who has shared their Megs stories with us—it brings us great comfort.

Henderson (you know who you are!)—you are Megs and Mom’s rock. You walked this journey with us, bringing love, laughter, and unwavering support. We love you.

A heartfelt thank you to Fallon for being there for Megs. And to Gia, Chrissy, Rebecca, Henderson and Fallon—thank you for making Megs’ last birthday celebration so special.

Special thanks to Nurse Jennifer and the incredible palliative care team who guided us with such compassion and grace.

Steph, thank you for being Mia’s forever new Mom—and to all the wonderful equine friends who have spoiled Megs’ Mia and continue to love her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at:
Wellington North Equestrian Centre
(10553 Guelph Line, Campbellville, ON)
Feel free to drop in and share your favourite memory of Megs!

In lieu of flowers, donations in Megs’ honour can be made to a charity of your choice. Her greatest wish was for us all to take time to help others—every chance we get. Whether through a donation, a kind word, or a helping hand, please do something good in her memory to make the world a little brighter.

“Laugh loud, stay strong, be loud, have fun, work hard, and most of all, be kind to everyone.”
