October 14, 1949 - June 12, 2024It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend Rhéal Caza (aka Ray Ray) born in 1949. He lived the best life he could with the cards he was dealt. Ray Ray was passionate about many things. Ray loved his family, nature, politics, driving, music and…..CIGARETTES. Ray Ray had a big heart while also having the biggest stubborn streak this side of the Atlantic. It was a quality that made him the ultimate fighter until his final breath.
Ray Ray is survived by his wife Vicki (Reeves). Father to Sylvia (1974) Chantelle (Joe) and John. Grandfather to Olivia and Nate. Brother to Denis (Theresa) ,Georgette (Mike) and Renee (Yvonne). He also had many nieces and nephews that he loved, although many are traumatized from the many pishniks they endured. We have an abundance of great memories and we hope anyone who knew him has the same.
In lieu of flowers please consider doing random acts of kindness and if you are inclined to make a donation please make it to Emmanuel House Hospice in Hamilton. The staff and quality of care at the hospice was beyond amazing and made Rays final days more bearable. We would also like to thank all hospice and in home staff including Rachel, Mara, Dr. Lam and Dr. Harris for the love and support they showed to the entire family during these difficult months.
Cremation has been facilitated by Passages and a private family memorial will take place at a later date.
