Hunt-Attwooll, Sherry

Hunt-Attwooll, Sherry Noreen
April 9, 1946 - April 19, 2023

“No one will ever fill the Sherry-shaped hole in our hearts”

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Sherry Noreen Hunt-Attwooll (nee- Livingston).  Although Sherry has moved on from this earthly plane, many of us have sensed her presence regularly, since her passing April 19, 2023 around 4:55pm with her daughter Janis and pastor Libby Peters by her side. Sherry was 77 years old, born April 9, 1946.

Sherry was pre deceased by her parents Jefferson and Myrtle Livingston (nee Fraser), brother Douglas Livingston, and husband Arnold Russel William Attwooll. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Kevin Livingston and wife Jackie, daughter Janis Hunt, granddaughters Jaydum and Brooke Hunt, great-granddaughters Kausalia and Kaiya Hunt, sister in law Barbara Livingston, nieces Sarah, Amy, Anne, her many cousins of the Fraser clan as well as her many friends.

Over the years Sherry loved playing tennis and golf, cottaging, time on Lake Huron, travel, hosting parties in the Edgehill neighborhood along with her great love of music. Sherry’s personal style was vibrant and unique; most would agree that she was a real class act who loved having fun. Sherry followed her father’s creative side, creating and selling many of her paintings.

Sherry loved all animals and was especially fond of Amir, Winston, Montana and Luke. She loved to cook for family and friends along with spending as much time as possible enjoying her backyard at her Edgehill drive home. She was generous beyond measure, sharing when she could, with family and friends.

Sherry spent most of her life in the Cambridge area where she volunteered with the Cambridge memorial hospital as well as the Galt Public Library. She also spent a number of years at the Edgehill home hosting students from various countries, offering a caring and fun home away from home for many Conestoga College students. Throughout Sherry’s marriage with Arnie she could be found working alongside him in different capacities in their many businesses over the years. Sherry and her daughter Janis were close and the best of friends, speaking on the phone daily or visiting with each other often.

A special thank you is extended to dear friend Joanne Evans for her constant commitment to her and sherry’s friendship for over 35 years; Janis could not have done the last long while without your help.

Expressions of sympathy would be appreciated with donations to the KW Humane Society or animal rescue of your choice

There will be a private celebration of Sherry’s life for close friends and family.

Online Condolences
