Myers, Leighton (“Bunny”) Errington Seaton
January 6, 1934 – July 25, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bunny at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in the early hours on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at the age of 87 years.
Bunny leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Beverly, son Wayne (Lynne), daughter, Jackie, grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew, older brother, Douglas, and late brother Vincent, and all his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family from all around the world.
Bunny was born in Hope Bay, Jamaica on January 6, 1934. He was a graduate at Jamaica College and had worked for various companies on the island. He met his true love, Bev, and they were married in 1964. In 1977, Bunny and Bev immigrated from Jamaica to Canada and happily settled in Oakville, Ontario. Bunny worked hard throughout the years and when he wasn’t working, he loved to spend time with his family and friends. After retirement, he loved to spend time in his garden, which he was very proud of. He also loved to spend Saturday afternoons watching his favorite sports on tv and having friends over to share a laugh or two.
A special thank you goes out to all the wonderful doctors, nurses, and support staff who assisted Bunny with loving care and supported Bev during this most stressful time.
Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (www.alzheimer.ca) would be greatly appreciated by the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
