October 4, 1951 – September 26, 2022It’s with great sadness that we announce Susan passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones at Guelph General Hospital on September 26th in her 70th year. Loving partner of 16 years to Donald Hicks, She will be deeply missed by her sister Cheryl Gibson; children Tiffany (and her children Hunter, Emma, Bella and Alex) Ashley (and her daughter Autumn), Amy McDonald-Hicks; nieces Stephanie (and her children Emma and Abby), Christina, IdaMarie (and her children Stephen, Dallas, Klaus), Kimberly (and her children Georgina & Leo), Kelsey (and her children Adelyn & Michael).
A very special thank you to Crystal, Nicole and all the staff at Guelph General Hospital for the love and compassionate care provided. We cannot thank you enough for everything you did.
As per Susan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will be held in the near future. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Guelph Humane Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
