January 31, 1942 - June 8, 2023It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Veronica Vanwanrooy in her 82nd year. She was a wife, mother, Oma, sister, aunt and friend. Beloved wife of Arnold (1997) for 36 years. Mom loved and cherished her family very much: children Donna (Dave) and Perry (Michelle); grandchildren Taylor (Matt), Ryan (Lindsey), Justin (Vanessa), Melissa (Victor) and Sarah (Ryan); great grandchildren Kaiden, Ira, Alex and Michael.
Veronica leaves behind siblings Petie, Margaret and Aggie, and will be joining her other siblings Piet, Mienie and Jopie. She will be missed by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to Jeanice, Gene and Marilyn and all family and friends who helped Mom through the last few difficult years. We would also like to thank all the PSWs and Nurses from St. Elizabeths and Bayshore for the excellent care they provided for mom.
Cremation has taken place. No funeral service or visitation will take place as per her wishes. Interment will take place at a later date to reunite Mom and Dad.
